The Swiss SAMPE Chapter congratulates the awarded teams of the Bridge Building Contest 2014, which took place in Winterthur in late January:
- The FHNW team "Pontazza" who won the price for the maximum load to failure, with a bridge that reached as much as 21 kN/kg. The podium was completed by the HSR team "HSR1" (second place with 19 kN/kg) and the ZHAW team "Tacoma Builder" (third place with 11 kN/kg).
- The HSR team "HSR1" awarded for the best design.
- The HSR team "Minimalisten" who won the award for the best aesthetic.
